Aspera has lunched three new software products, which enhance the management of digital files at high speed regardless of file size, transfer distance or network conditions.

The new offerings – Sync, Orchestrator and Mobile Uploader, help users to synchronise large file repositories with maximum speed across global networks, automate even the most complex transfer workflows, and extend the fasp transport speed and efficiency to mobile users on wireless networks.

The new Sync is a continuous file synchronisation application built on fasp transport technology, and its features include: multi-directional synchronisation of remote files and directories; unprecedented scalability; fastest speed for bulk data synchronisation over WANs; and console for configuration, management and reporting.

The second offering – Orchestrator 1.0 is a new web based application and SDK platform for creating and managing automated file transfer workflows including third-party media applications and services, both on-premise or cloud-based.

While Mobile Uploader, which is the first product in the fasp-AIR mobile line, enables companies to empower their remote news professionals and user contributors with high-speed file transfers to and from mobile devices up to three times faster than regular TCP over 3G networks and up to 100 times faster over high bandwidth 802.11 WiFi connections to long haul WANs.

Uploader features include easy-to-use uploader app that directly accesses the iPhone picture and video library; and support for remote, mobile video capture in the field and wireless transfer to an Aspera server, even at global distances.
