Project management software provider Project Manager Online, has introduced the new version of their web-based project manager software.
The offering gives individual team members a clear view and access into what they are currently responsible for and allows them access and update their project files.
The company said that the new offering eliminates the need for frequent email updates back and forth between team members and provides alerts to project managers when projects are updated and can view new project status.
The new web-based project manager offering facilitates in updating project task information on demand; allows project team members access to input their own status updates on assigned tasks.
It also allows project team members to access their own reporting on individually assigned tasks and overall project status; and tracks actual task status vs. planned task status for any point in the project.
Project Manager Online president and CEO Jason Westland said the company has enhanced some reporting features in their new release of ProjectManager.com.
"With our latest release, project team members with access to the project files will be able to report on all tasks that fall under their responsibility and get a clear view of what’s expected of them and when it’s due," Westland said.
