CA Technologies has released CA XCOM Data Transport for z/OS, which is designed to help customers control costs and improve operational efficiency while transferring high volumes of data.
The company said that its new offering helps prevent problems, speed data transport, and provide productivity gains in installation, deployment and maintenance. It supports CA Mainframe Software Manager and provides up to 30-40% performance improvements on z/OS file transfers.
CA XCOM also provides detailed information on scheduled file transfers to enhance data analysis, trouble shooting and auditing. It supports HFS and zFS file systems to expand CA XCOM’s ability to move data safely and efficiently between multiple platforms.
CA Technologies said that CA XCOM provides secure data transferring across z/OS, Linux, Linux on System z, Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, AS/400, Windows platforms and OpenVMS.
