Level 3 Communications, has signed an agreement with Gandi SAS, a domain name registrar and a provider of cloud infrastructure offerings, to provide a range of telecommunications services.
Under the terms of the three-year agreement, Gandi will leverage the Level 3 network for colocation, Ethernet private line (EPL), intercity and transatlantic wavelengths, as well as Internet protocol (HSIP) services.
Level 3 said that these new services will help to further expand Gandi’s market reach into the US and support the company’s cloud infrastructure initiatives, such as virtual private servers (VPS).
Headquartered in France, Gandi also has a regional US office based in Baltimore. Gandi’s VPSs provide their customers with a cloud services infrastructure that enables them to host a range of cloud software platforms.
Jeff Tench, president of Level 3’s Business Markets Group, said: "Enabling our enterprise customers to expand their businesses through high-quality communications services is central to Level 3’s goal as a network innovator. We are pleased to work with Gandi by providing service solutions that will help them meet their global connectivity needs."
