Huawei Symantec Technologies, a data storage and network security company, has begun the sale of its products in Russia and CIS countries, reported UzReport.
UzReport stated that Huawei Symantec Technologies was officially registered in February 2008 and began sales on May 22.
Nadejda Berezkina, Huawei Symantec Technologies’ regional deputy director for Russia and the CIS, said: “currently the portfolio of the company includes three main product lines.”
Huawei Symantec Technologies is a joint venture between Huawei Technologies, a producer of hardware systems and Symantec, a provider of security, storage and systems management services. Huawei Technologies holds a 51% share and Symantec possesses a 49% stake in the joint venture.
