Omnitrol Networks, a provider of application network platforms, has entered into a strategic relationship with BT Global Services, a provider of networked IT services.

According to Omnitrol Networks, the collaboration is expected to enable BT supply chain services to deliver enhanced and scalable supply-chain, asset and operational visibility services utilising next-generation radio frequency identification (RFID), wireless and sensor technologies based on the Omnitrol Networks platform.

The Omnitrol platform integrates an Edge Application and Service Creation Engine (EASE) for delivering integrated real-time asset and work-in-process visibility services.
