Pharos Science & Applications has launched the Traveler 137, a new Windows phone to give users access to 3G data speeds on wireless networks.

The company said that the Traveler 137 features hybrid navigation software which provides voice-prompted navigation even without a connection to a carrier’s network. It is sold unlocked, enabling users to use local GSM SIM cards worldwide.

The new phone comes with Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system, a 3.5 TFT LCD screen with touch panel and a 3 megapixel camera.

It is also a GPS a-GPS compatible, EDGE/GPRS, Tri-band 3G and HSDPA 7.2Mb/s, HSUPA 2Mb/s data connectivity capabilities.
