Google continues to revamp its Gmail for the iPhone and the Android users in a move to make the web experience similar on the desktops as well as on mobiles.
The company has added two new features – address auto-completion and keyboard shortcuts.
Address auto-completion is expected to be similar to the desktop version and would help to find the list of possible contacts or e-mail addresses by just typing the first few letters.
The second feature, the keyboard shortcuts, is also expected to work the way the desktop application does.
A Google mobile blog says: Now you can use all those familiar Gmail keyboard shortcuts to quickly move through your inbox.” This means that pressing ‘u’ would send the user back to the inbox and ‘n’ would make him move on to newer mail.
