Invatec, a manufacturer of interventional devices for coronary and peripheral work, has implemented Pilgrim Software’s integrated services for complaints, non-conformance and corrective and preventive actions management.

Pilgrim said that SmartCAPA and SmartComplaints, two solutions that are part of the SmartSolve, form a closed-loop system that allows users to report, react to, and resolve issues, as well as prevent recurrence through appropriate actions. The centralized systems will support Invatec’s sites in both Italy and Switzerland by enabling visibility of quality and compliance with regulatory record-keeping at the enterprise level.

By streamlining Invatec’s processes Pilgrim’s solutions will help reduce overhead costs from the previous paper-based administration. They also provide Invatec with the scalability to integrate additional modules and multiply the number of users as its needs evolve, added Pilgrim.

Peter Muster, vice president and responsible for quality and regulatory affairs at Invatec, said: We were seeking an automated solution with practices for managing CAPAs and complaints, and we recognized that Pilgrim’s integrated software meets our needs, with the added benefit of ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting our overall quality. Implementing Pilgrim’s software enhances our quality efforts at both the process and product level.
