MSI has unveiled new X-Slim X360 notebook, which features Intel Core i5 processor with Intel’s Turbo Boost and Hyper-Threading technology and Intel HM55 chipset for enhanced processing performance and offers up to nine hours of battery life.

MSI said that Intel’s Arrandale ULV platform enables X360 with enhanced audio/video and processing performance and allows users to multitask, while ensuring smooth operation. The Turbo Boost technology automatically adjusts power levels to provide the amount of power needed for various applications, while allocating resources necessary for operations to give the X360 nine hours of battery life.

According to MSI, the new notebook features standard ultra-thin body and feather pattern lines, Windows 7 Home Premium, DDRIII SO-DIMM (Up to 4GB), 13-inch screen HD, 1.3M webcam, and I/O features including HDMI, D-sub, USB 2.0 x 2, Mic-in, Headphone out, and RJ-45.

The new notebook, which weighs around 1.4kg, is less than 1-inch thick and boasts the company’s own chic rhombic pattern and colour film print.

In addition, the X360 comes equipped with the company’s software programs such as EasyViewer, which utilises a 3D image display; face identification software Easy Face; and biometric identification system for safeguarding personal information.
