British Technology Group USA and Grumman Corp have signed an international technology transfer agreement that enables BTG USA to manage the commercialisation of technologies developed by Grumman: BTG will choose pieces of intellectual property in Grumman’s portfolio and attempt to find sub-licensees who could use the technology in their products; the state-owned British Technology Group says that other strategies might include starting a new company, or provide financial help to bring a technology to market; $4,000m-a-year Grumman says it processes 20 patents a month in electro-optics and electronics.
