And DEC is to be seen this week at the unlikely venue of the Sun Expo exhibition in Boston, where it is showing DECWindows Motif and DEC VUIT – for Viseal User Interface Tool – presumably aimed at those Sun customers not satisfied with Sun Microsystems’ own Open Look interface: DEC says that it is considering selling other software on Sun, IBM and Hewlett-Packard Co Unix machines, including software engineering tools, office and database tools, and its suite of Network Application Support products.
