British Telecommunications Plc’s BT Tymnet Inc, headquartered in San Jose, California has announced new agreements for interconnections based on the X400 messaging standard; its X400 message switching service, Dialcom400, can now exchange messages with users of IBM Mail and SprintMail, and users of Dialcom400 will soon be able to address Western Union’s EasyLink; BT Tymnet is also negotiating with GE Information Services to link with the Quik-Comm System, and international agreements have been signed with Italy and Denmark.
