Valencia, California-based 3-D Systems Inc reports that it has acquired operations relating to European distribution and maintenance of its StereoLithography products from Spectra-Physics Inc, and has formed wholly-owned subsidiaries in the UK, France and Germany: sales to Spectra-Physics accounted for about 20% of 3-D’s total $21.5m net sales during the nine months to September 30; 3-D Systems Inc is owned by a Canadian company of the same name.
