Feeling that it needs to win the hearts and minds of parents worried at what its pricey toys are doing to the hearts and minds of their children, Sega of America Inc, Redwood City, California has established the Sega Youth Education and Health Foundation Charitable Trust to address critical educational and health needs of American children: the Sega Trust will initially be funded by a $3m donation from Sega of America and Sega Enterprises Ltd and ongoing contributions to the trust will come from a donation from the profit on all Sega video game cartridges sold in the US.
