Tandberg has launched a personal telepresence system EX90, which integrates audio and visual quality and signature touch screen interface of the company’s Telepresence touch screen technology.
According to Tandberg, the new system features 8-inch touch screen interface, 24-inch HD screen and connects in full 1080p30 resolution to any standards-based video or telepresence system. It simplifies making video calls, sharing content and accessing advanced features.
The Ex90 also includes MultiSite that allows users to add two other participants to any call and can double as a PC monitor and has a handset for audio, streamlining executives’ communications and their desks.
The new offering also provides users the flexibility to add a second monitor to preserve the face-to-face personal telepresence experience while sharing data or multimedia at the same time on the other screen.
In addition, EX90 has a built-in PrecisionHD Camera that tilts 90 degrees enabling users to share sketches, blueprints, X-rays and other documents, as well as objects such as fabric swatches or models. It also allows users to add cameras, multimedia devices and other peripherals.
Fredrik Halvorsen, CEO of Tandberg, said: The EX90 enables executives to engage with customers, experts and employees as if they were sitting across the desk. This highly versatile system is built for the executive experience – with a sleekly designed large HD display for natural interaction that is also incredibly simple to use.
