Ace Microsystems Ltd has expanded its network of European distributors for the LEX range of office automation software, and signed an agreement with Barcelona-based ACU Spain. The company is an accredited DEC OEM customer, and a subsidiary of ACU Switzerland, an Ace Microsystems distributor since 1982. LEX-WP works in several European languages including Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Dutch, and can run the different languages together. The software was originally developed for DEC hardware, but has been adapted to run on several machines including personal computers under MS-DOS and Xenix.
