Kewill Systems Plc has had an excellent year’s trading with the total number of sales of its micro-based manufacturing systems software passing the 1,500 mark. The IBM 370-compatible Pick manufacturing software company Trifid Software made a pre-tax profit of UKP524,000, while Kewill-Xetal Systems has contributed UKP39,000 to the group’s turnover despite the fact that it has only been up and running for four months. The tiny bespoke software part of the Kewill group, Programming & Software Implementation managed to double its profits. As for the coming year, the acquistion of accountancy software house Omicron Management Software in March along with the establishment of the group’s new consultancy arm Helix Mangement Consultants in April look set to keep growth bubbling.
