Q1 Labs, a provider of security information and event management products, has introduced QRadar Log Manager, a new log management product that reportedly provides users with total automation and enhanced functionality.
Q1 Labs said that the new product is a log management and auditing offering for organizations to collect, analyse, and securely store log data from all devices, systems, and applications.
The new log management product can also be upgraded through a software license key to the company’s QRadar SIEM (security information and event management) product, providing customers with a migration path to SIEM capabilities.
The new log management product features include: a real-time log viewer that integrates historical searching, log aggregation views, and a streaming view of logs and alerts; forensic capabilities that enable security teams or individual users to drill down from summarised data to log details; asynchronous log searches for concurrent users; vertical market-focused reports, correlation rules, and default log searches to support compliance with PCI DSS, NERC, HIPAA and SOX.
