Autodesk Inc, Sausalito, California says that MapInfo Corp, Troy, New York will become one of the first independent application developers to participate in the new Strategic Developer Programme: MapInfo is a supplier of desktop-based mapping and geographic information system software and plans to link AutoCAD directly with future versions of its products so tha AutoCAD-generated map data can be displayed directly in the MapInfo environment with no conversion or translation.
