Red Gate Software has released SQL Object Level Recovery Native, a new tool that enables individual database objects to be recovered from native SQL Server 2008, 2005 and 2000 backup files.
The new recovery tool is licensed on a per-user rather than a per-server basis, allowing restoring database objects from native SQL Server backup files to any database, on any server, across the enterprise. It uses less disk space than restoring full database backups with SQL Server.
The new recovery tool is available as a standalone product or as part of a bundle that provides a set of tools to enhance daily tasks and keep enterprise data safe.
The SQL Backup Bundle includes: SQL Object Level Recovery Native; SQL Backup Pro (including SQL Object Level Recovery Pro) with network resilience; SQL Response to monitor SQL Server health and activity; and SQL Multi Script enabling SQL DBAs to execute multiple scripts against multiple SQL Servers.
