In one or the more surprising corporate upheavals of recent years, Joe Henson, who brought the button-down discipline of his IBM background to the previously flighty Prime Computer Inc, is to leave the company with no long term plans apart from a lengthy vacation as soon as his chosen successor, Anthony Craig, most recently president and chief operating officer at General Electric Information Services, is ready to take the helm. Craig comes on board immediately as chief operating officer. Craig’s departure will also fuel the speculation that GE is about to sell its very big Information Services division.
