Bradford-based Microvitec Plc has acquired from the receiver the assets of Computer Investments Ltd, a developer of point of information display systems, and will add it to its MV Multimedia subsidiary created in September: the company, which had turnover of UKP1.7m in the 11 months prior to going into receivership, makes those display signs used in railway stations, and also numbers Thames Riverbus, Nuclear Electric and PowerGen among its customers; terms of the acquisition were not disclosed; Microvitec says that all staff will be retained.
