Personal computer upgrade and add-on storage specialist Alloy Computer Products Inc, Framingham, Massachusetts is cutting its workforce US by 85 people, 25%, as part of a cost-cutting exer cise that also involves moving all manufacturing off shore. The company says that sales in the second quarter failed to meet expectations and that it will report a significant loss; it hopes to return to profit this quarter.
