Attunity, a provider of real-time data integration and event capture software, has launched a suite of Operational Data Replication (ODR) offerings integrated with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). It is designed to enable customers to replicate data in real-time across a set of data sources.

Alternatively, the Attunity suite of CDC (Change Data Capture) products for SSIS provides operational data replication (ODR) offerings that support operational/real-time BI requirements with cost savings in hardware, software licenses, and implementation services, Attunity said.

The company is extending its suite to support sources including, Oracle-CDC for SSIS; IBM z/OS DB2-CDC for SSIS; IBM iSeries DB2-CDC for SSIS; and HP NonStop SQL/MP-CDC for SSIS.

In addition to supporting many types of data sources, the product suite also supports the replication of data into many target data sources. With these products, customers can now implement operational data replication across a heterogeneous environment to enable real-time BI, while leveraging existing licenses and expertise in SQL Server and lowering total cost of ownership, the company said.

Tom Casey, general manager of SQL server business intelligence at Microsoft, said: SQL Server, as a business intelligence platform, provides customers with a powerful set of tools to integrate and manage their data in order to support modern business intelligence requirements. We value the relationship with Attunity and its product suite extends SSIS to enable customers to address enterprise and real-time integration requirements across a heterogeneous environment using the tools and applications they are already familiar with.
