Lotus Development Corp has added two add-ins for 1-2-3 release 2.01, Lotus Speedup and Lotus Learn, to be offered at little or no cost to current customers of 1-2-3, and will be included into all future 1-2-3 Release 2.01 packages. Speedup enables users to select a faster recalculation mode to make 1-2-3 more efficient and powerful since 1-2-3 needs to recalculate only cells whose values have changed since the last recalculation. Learn provides an automatic keystroke recorder that makes it easier to write 1-2-3 macros that can be saved and then executed automatically. Learn also works with 1-2-3 Release 2.0. Speedup and Learn, which are not copy protected, are available in the US for a $20 shipping and handling charge for current 1-2-3 Release, or it can be had for free at some dealers for a limited time. They will be available through The World of Lotus on the CompuServe information net.
