For the West German market only at present, Amstrad Plc accompanied the launch of its two new laptops – Newsbytes reckons those are being made for the company by Funai Inc of Japan – with the LD6000 laser printer: it comes with 512Kb to 4MB of memory, has a six-page-per-minute engine and costs about $2,300.
