IBM UK also took the opportunity to announce the the enhancements and changes to its PS/2 product range.The PS/2 Model 30-H31 joins the PS/2 Model 30-286 family. Costing UKP2,084, it has 30Mb fixed disk with an average access time of 27mS but otherwise has the same functionality as the Model 30-H21. This is not the only family being expanded – IBM is adding a new model to its PS/2 70s. The PS/2 Model 70-M61 is a 60Mb hard disk version of the PS/2 Model 70-121, is priced at UKP4,000, is fitted with 4Mb of memory on the system board. IBM also declared Model 70-F61 to be in Limited Availability and has cut its price to UKP3,459 from UKP4,000. Finally 4Mb of memory is being added on the system board as standard for all Models 80-111 and 311 – prices for these models will remain unchanged.
