Cypress Semiconductor Corp is still negotiating with IBM for 4M-bit memory chip fabrication technology, reports Electronic News: although IBM is believed to have got $50m for the design from Micron Technology Inc, Cypress thinks that that price is too high, and is negotiating around a smaller cash sum and the transfer of some of its own memory and logic devices to IBM.
