BSG Digitale Illustrationen GmbH of Cologne has picked up West German marketing rights to the Acorn Computers Plc Archimedes 3000 workstation, and is thrilled at the machine’s potential, touting it as offering RISC power for everybody, and saying that it brings a four-fold increase in MIPS to the German living room – at just DM2,350; the company is offering Golden Visions’ Aristo the art package for the machine, which it sees posing stiff competition for the Commodore International Amiga and Atari 1040.
