Winchester, Virginia based Seance Inc has signed final contract agreements with British Aerospace Inc for the transfer of copyright of the OARS groupware product to Seance: OARS is an MSDOS-based system designed to manage documents, spreadsheets and graphics files across multiple Novell Inc NetWare local area networks, providing file security, electronic mail, multi-level retrieval, and file-sharing for workgroups; it was developed for the UK company’s Herndon, Virginia subsidiary in 1989 and for the past three years, OARS networks have operated fault-free in the United States and the UK, distributing strategic marketing data between transatlantic workgroups; Seance Inc is a new company, formed as a software development centre in Winchester only in April this year.
