S Megga International Holdings has set up a joint venture with China’s Ministry of Posts & Telecommunications to distribute telephone products in China: to be called the Shanghai Asiatic Telecommunication Technology Co, it is to be based in Shanghai and will enable S Megga to sell fax machines, cordless telephones and computerised telex machines; the venture is to be 46.55% owned by S Megga, 51% by the Ministry, with the remaining 2.45% owned by an unnamed US company.
