AT&T Co has made its expected move onto the continent to complement its AT&T Istel business here, offering $88m for software and computer services group Dataid SA of Paris (CI No 1,869). Dataid’s annual turnover is running at $125m and the company employs 1,500 people in France, Belgium and Luxembourg. Dataid chairman Pierre Benhamou who holds 61% has accepted the offer.
