Officescape has launched a new service package Nomadic Office, which allows users to maintain productivity even while traveling or displaced.
According to Officescape, the new service package includes communication services, conference services, software applications and online file management services, and allows smartphone users to receive faxes on their Blackberry, iPhone or other web-enabled devices and synchronises these devices with the client’s in-office email, contacts and calendar, to avoid duplication.
The company claims that the new package is designed provide services that bridge the productivity gap between the type of work that currently can be done, using smartphones or other mobile devices, and the type of work that needs to get done.
The new offering enables access to Officescape’s worldwide network of day offices and conference rooms. It provides web phone capabilities and facilities using its audio conference bridging, allowing conferences to be conducted anywhere by calling into an audio bridge, the company said.
In addition, the package also provides services including online file management and storage in the form of eFile Cabinet and access to a library of software as a service application licenses.
