At least we’re not the only ones that make embarrassing mistakes – such as new errors in corrections as when TPC-B came out as TCB-B in CI No 1,849 – and although we say in the AT&T Co Definity story (CI No 1,850) that it calls the administrator when an unauthorised attempt is made to access network facilities… what AT&T actually said, complete with split infinitive, was that the G3 also offers new security features to help companies guard against toll fraud – a new alarm notification feature enables the PBX to immediately call the system’s administrator when an authorised attempt is made to gain access to network facilities through the switch – if that’s right, the administrator is going to be busy, one way and another.
