The London-based British Technology Group Ltd, just privatised, has licensed its Bandwidth on Demand ISDN system, RAMP, to Aculab Ltd, headquartered in Leighton Buzzard. Two practical implementations have been developed – a personal computer board for local area network bridging, or a self-contained unit that interfaces to video coder-decoders.
