Thomson-CSF SA is to pool its interests in electronic indetification cards and systems with those of US Banknote Inc: Thomson will have a controlling interest in the new company, IDMatics Inc, which will operate worldwide via companies in New York and Paris, and will be able to meet government orders for between 50,000 to 10m cards a year.
