The adjective troubled has been attached to the name of AEG AG’s office systems and equipment subsidiary Olympiawerke for longer than most of us care to remember, and the Daimler-Benz AG affiliate is finally ready to throw in the towel on the business, which came close to a marriage with Bull SA about seven years ago. AEG confirms that Olympia made further losses in 1990 and says that it is now up for sale.
