Borland International Inc didn’t bother to tell us about it last week, but it seems that early last month the company provided the Object Management Group with ObjectWindows, its object-oriented program interface designed to facilitate Windows programming. Borland, a long-time Object Management Group member, wants to make the language-independent class library a standard. The Scotts Valley, California company, which is developing a C++ version of ObjectWindows, is expected to design the program so that it will support Presentation Manager, Motif, Open Look and other graphical user interfaces.
