Daewoo Corp, Seoul, South Korea is to install digital telephone exchanges and telephone lines in three provincial towns in Burma – Taunggyi, Pegu and Tavoy; the country’s state telecommunications authority has ordered 7,000 lines, to be installed within 14 months.
