Atlanta, Georgia-based Client/Server Labs, a spin-out of Enabling Technologies Group, is due to publish its first RPMark benchmark test report this week (CI No 2,656). RPMark is from IBM Corp’s AS/400 division to evaluate overall client-server performance and is based on a composite rating of transaction, file serving and decision support. IBM turned the test over to Enabling realising no-one would take a Blue benchmark seriously.
