Meanwhile, Motion Works USA Inc, Los Angeles has announced CameraMan 2.0 for Windows, a multimedia screen recording tool that will compete directly with ScreenCam. The product enables users to capture application screen activity, cursor movements and sound into movies. The new version adds new editing capabilities, Object Linking & Embedding support and improvements in screen recording performance; it also includes a new video editing tool. CameraMan is available for Windows and Macintosh and uses the Microsoft Corp AudioVisual Interface and Apple Computer Inc QuickTime file formats. Motion Works is in the process of negotiating agreements with a number of OEM customers that are interested in bundling CameraMan with their products. It is shipping now, for $150.
