It what looks like reckless disregard for the growing criticism of its practices, Microsoft Corp is considering including the Microsoft Office applications for Windows95 with the operating system, Infoworld reports. The paper quotes company officials saying that the strategy includes offering Office, or a general catalogue of Microsoft applications including Office, on the same CD-ROM disk as the Windows95 operating system, or preloaded on the hard disk on a try before you buy basis. Users would be be able to preview the applications first and if they wanted any of them, they would be able to decrypt and download any application by calling a toll-free number or accessing an on-line decryption key from a service such the forthcoming Microsoft Network.
