CAE Inc, which revealed a week or three ago that it had it in mind to bend its flight simulator technology to the fickle dictates of the fun-and-games market, now says that it is talking to three or four entertainment companies, including large-screen film company Imax Inc, on interactive technology development, although It’s too early for us to come out with statements except to say that we are looking at getting into that business, the company told reporters after an analysts’ meeting; it admits that it has revised its earlier opinion, expressed about two years ago, that the multimedia and interactive worlds were not for CAE, but it is unlikely to ever get into the video games world although it sees the entertainment markets coming to CAE, in particular virtual reality.
