AT&T Corp’s AT&T Multimedia Software Solutions has cut prices on its personal computer-based illustration, animation, and interactive multimedia authoring packages, RIO, RIO Animator, and Panorama. The RIO Professional Release 6.2 illustration package is now priced at $1,000, a 45% reduction, while the upgrade price is down to $300 from $500. RIO Desktop Release 6.2 now costs $500, down from $800, and Panorama Professional Release 3.0 has dropped by $200 to $800. Panorama Professional Release 2.0 is down to $1,000 from $1,200. The RIO Animator bundle, which includes RIO Professional Release 5.02 and RIO Animator Release 5.02, remains at $700.
