Toshiba Corp and Sega Enterprises Ltd have developed a game-on- demand system targeting people stuck in their hotel rooms in a strange town: hotel guests will be able to select from among seven games for the 32-bit Sega Saturn system; installing a central server as well as game terminals and control pads in 300 hotel rooms, will cost about $381,000; the companies are targeting sales of $57m over two years; the system enables any single game to be played simultaneously in as many as 16 rooms; Sega expects to supply 50 or 60 titles overall, including recent games like VirtuaFighter 2.
