Cheyenne Software Inc has a red hot credit card just now, and after just pocketing Intelligent Quotient International Ltd (CI No 2,995), it has bought the assets of Mediatrends Inc, on undisclosed terms. It will take a net charge of about $0.03 per share this quarter to cover in-process research and development. Concord, Massachusetts-based Mediatrends develops computer-integrated telephony software – it has developed client and server voice mail software for Windows NT and Windows95, and Cheyenne wants it to become the first vendor to offer a voice mail messaging system for Microsoft Corp’s latest babies.
