Weybridge, UK-based TT Group Plc has attributed yet another successful half of growth and healthy profits to its strategy of hard work, careful acquisitions and a deliberate conservative approach. And its policy of providing just-in-time deliveries and additional off-the-shelf services to customers has paid dividends during the period. Pre-tax profits for the six months to June 30 rose 22% to 22.8m British pounds on revenue that rose 15% to 264.9m pounds, 1.8m pounds of which derived from acquisitions. In May the group acquired diesel generator manufacturer Dawson-Keith Ltd and on August 1 the trade and assets of Munradtech Generators Ltd were purchased from its receivers, both for 1.3m pounds. Chief executive Michael Eke said the company is to establish a new production facility in the US to transfer technology from Europe.
