The Russian offices of Microsoft Corp and of Digital Services have signed an agreement under which the latter – which is the services company of Digital Equipment Corp in Russia – becomes a Microsoft Solution Provider Authorized Support Center. Russia becomes a part of Microsoft and DEC’s world-wide partnership on technical support for Windows NT and other high-end Microsoft users. According to Microsoft, its Russian customers will be able to gain access to services similar to those provided world wide. Services provided by Digital Services in Russia include installation, warranty and post-warranty service for software, hardware and networks, telephone support and remote access to technical databases.
