COMPAQ TO BUNDLE AOL BERTELSMANN SOFTWARE

Compaq Computer Corp signed with the AOL Bertelsmann Online GmbH joint venture between America Online Inc and Bertelsmann AG to bundle the AOL European online services with all Presario multimedia personal computers shipped in Europe. The agreement is an extension of the one struck with America Online in the US, and users will again be offered a one month 10-hour free trial.
